About The Team:

We are a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing medical procedures with the state-of-the-art technologies to be accurate, efficient, easy and consistent. The team consists of product management, clinical engineering and engineers from different disciplines (computer vision, deep learning, navigation, sensor fusion, medical imaging, visualization, software, etc) closely working with the customers to define and create the future of medical imaging and navigation.  We embrace transparent communication, first principle thinking, data-driven decision and are committed to remove any barrier for innovation.

A Day In The Life Of Our Research Intern - Computer Vision and Medical Imaging:

  • Work with cross functional team to identify concepts and solutions

  • Research, prototype and iterate algorithmic, visualization and software solutions

  • Draft engineering documentation and patent disclosures / applications

About You:

  • Advanced MS or PhD students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering preferred. Other exceptional candidates will also be considered.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in Deep Learning and AI-related technologies for computer vision. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and Pytorch.

  • Solid knowledge in one of the following areas: medical image reconstruction, 3D computer vision, computational imaging, visual object tracking, sensor fusion, etc. Hands‐on experience in one or more of these areas is strongly preferred.

  • Strong programming skill with Python. Experience with OpenCV, OpenGL, or VTK is a plus.

  • Proven experience in conducting cutting edge research with successful outcomes. Track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Medical

  • Imaging, or related fields (e.g. NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, MICCAI, ISBI, TMI, SPIE Medical Imaging, etc.) is a plus.

  • Being able to work full-time for at least 3 months. Longer-term internship preferred.

Pay Transparency

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.

California Pay Range$24—$45 USD

Noah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
