We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Engineer and Data Analyst, to join our dynamic team in a challenging environment. Your role will involve harnessing the power of data to aid decision-making across product and finance teams to help achieve ambitious objectives. If you are someone who loves data, enjoys working iteratively, and knows when to dream big and disrupt, we would like to hear from you.

In this role, you will be working directly with founding team members, product, and finance teams in addition to working closely with development teams during sprints.

This role is Bangalore based and you will be required to work from the office.

You’ll be responsible for —

  • Developing and managing interactive dashboards and reports in Looker Studio / Connected Google Sheets.
  • Writing, optimizing, and executing complex SQL queries / data models.
  • Maintaining and enhancing data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (i.e BigQuery).
  • Being a data SPOC for the wider Product / Finance Team and helping them with daily/weekly/monthly data extract or analysis.
  • Ensuring pristine data integrity by validating and testing data for Product / Finance use cases.

You need —

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and Data Analyst.
  • Strong and reliable SQL skills - strong experience with writing optimized SQL / Common Table Expressions (CTEs) / Window functions / Partitioning.
  • To have experience with BI, data visualization and reporting tools like Google Looker Studio / Power BI / Tableau.
  • To have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery.
  • To have experience with additional data analytics tools like Amplitude / Mixpanel / Google Analytics / Clevertap etc.
  • To be proficient in Python.
  • To have some experience in the Esports / Online & Mobile Gaming industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • To be a self-starter who can work well with minimal-to-no-guidance in a fluid environment.
  • To have the agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements, scope, and priorities.
  • To work from the office and be based out of Bangalore (or be willing to relocate) for this role.
