We provide an integrated approach to client servicing in order to meet the client’s full range of investment and servicing needs. Each new client is assigned to a Client Service team which consists of a Client Advisor, Client Account Manager, Portfolio Manager and Investment Specialist.

As an Associate in the Global Client Service Data Analytics role at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you will engage with using the latest analytic tools and processes, our goal is to develop a Global Client Service operational data infrastructure within JPMorgan Asset Management to support the Client Experience team and Client Account Managers. We need to increase our understanding of Client needs, service activities and operational performance to ultimately deliver unparalleled service and support to all Clients who interact with Global Client Services. We are searching for an individual who is experienced data analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. Additionally, you should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain leading-edge analytics to solve complicated problems.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets in vendor platforms and proprietary systems
  • Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and data visualization
  • Use data to provide Client Experience insights 
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and remediating data
  • Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
  • Work closely with Global Client Service managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders, at all levels of the organization, or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
  • Produce data, metrics and analytics to support Client Experience Governance.  Be able to confidently present and explain findings to all levels of the organization
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
  • Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting appropriate combination of methods and tools within defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution
  • Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across data sets.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience as a data analyst
  • Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau
  • Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools

Preferred Qualifications  capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques
  • Strong programming experience with frameworks including XML, Java script, and ETL
  • Practical experience in statistical analysis using statistical packages including Excel, SPSS, and SAS
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics
