The Role:

You will report to the Head of Data and collaborate closely with the Head of Credit Risk. Our data team covers data infrastructure, engineering, machine learning, and analytics. Following our recent transition to a modern and scalable data stack (Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Tableau), your focus will be on gaining actionable insights from data and developing predictive models that power intelligent, automated decision-making. We are looking for a team player who has curiosity, eagerness to learn and ability to learn quickly.

Requirements

• Develop and enhance business critical tools, including credit qualification algorithms, borrower revenue forecasting models, pricing algorithms, and behavioral scoring systems.

• Engage hands-on in model development, using your expertise to drive initiatives at the forefront of our industry.
• Contribute to team efforts by supporting ongoing projects and model enhancements, ensuring optimal performance and innovative solutions in data handling.

Essential Skills:

• Machine learning experience in the real world
• Excellent ability to communicate with people with different backgrounds
• Evolved problem solving skills
• Machine learning expertise and experience
• Fluent in Python
• Used to software development best practices and workflow

Desirable:

• MLOps tools like AWS Sagemaker, knowledge and understanding of full machine learning pipeline

Salary range: £60,000 - 80,000 + 10% annual bonus
