Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write application and database code based on business requirements or user stories, architectural requirements, and existing code using both DOMO and AWS redshift.
  • Design, development, and enhancement of data models DOMO and AWS redshift.
  • Modify and improve data engineering processes to handle ever larger, more complex, and more types of data sources and pipelines.
  • Work as part of the data processing team and on performance tuning and optimization, query optimization, index tuning, caching, buffer tuning and data archiving strategies.
  • Estimate and plan development work, track and report on task progress, and deliver work on schedule.
  • Ensure all deliverables are high quality by setting development standards, adhering to the standards and participating in code reviews.
  • Mentor, support and manage team members.
  • Keep up to speed on new and emerging technologies and products that will be of interest to our clients

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 yrs of experience in DOMO
  • Hands on experience in the DOMO magic ETL and traditional transformation techniques
  • Advanced SQL coding (must), tuning, and query optimization, especially within cloud-based data warehouses MS Azure and Amazon Redshift.
  • 1+ years of Python coding experience.
  • Ability to lead other Data Engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to speak and write professionally.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Ability to service clients, partners and internal stakeholders by understand their needs, translating those needs into creative solutions, and delivering on those solutions with diligence and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in leadership and contributing to tasks “hands-on”.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and coding techniques.
  • Digital media experience, particularly experience working in ad tech industry with a data-centric role plus.

Additional Information

Compensation Range:  $106.500 - $148,000 annually.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.  The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 4/22/2024.
