WHAT YOU’LL DO

Join our dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing data analytics and products for impactful decision-making at Braze. We collaboratively shape data strategies, optimizing analytics practices to drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of scalable data models of Snowflake data warehouses to support AI-driven enrichment and metrics-based analytics.
  • Dive deep into product understanding, AI roadmap, data app architecture, and data flow to develop innovative solutions that drive customer engagement and retention.
  • Guide data scientists and engineers on best practices for AI model development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Expertly design and implement data products using techniques such as embeddings, vector databases, RAG, data APIs, natural language processing, and LLMs.
  • Embrace a passion for data cataloging, metadata management, and adherence to data governance principles.
  • Excel in advanced SQL with proficiency in window functions, complex aggregations, and query optimization techniques for big-data data marts using dbt.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver value adding insights and solutions.

WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate for this role possesses:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud data warehouses and developing AI/ML systems, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
  • Proven expertise in advanced SQL, statistical analysis, and AI training techniques.
  • A track record of leading impactful projects from conception to deployment.
  • Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of technical architecture and data flow in a cloud-based environment.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members on best practices for requirements gathering, development, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in scalable data model design and data model optimization.
  • Passion for building AI-driven solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Enthusiasm for AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Llama Index, and Scikit-learn.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing data and AI models in production environments.
  • Dedication to applying data governance principles and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
