The role
As an ETL Developer, you will be part of the team that is responsible for support and maintenance of different systems and workflows. Troubleshooting ,error correction and making changes will be your main task.
Also, you will be involved in ETL workflows migration into Pentaho. Many old ETL jobs/workflows that has been developed in several different techniques need to be rebuilt, improved, simplified, stabilized and migrated to the latest technology.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintenance of different systems and workflows
• ETL migration project
• Version management in GitHub Enterprise
• Daily tasks in development tool (Jira) and case management tool (ServiceNow)
• Collaboration within and outside the product team to secure resilient solutions and shared technical design
• Providing technical design and guidance – Code Review, Test Automation, DevOps best practices

Skills

• Very good experience of ETL tools (Pentaho Data Integration knowledge is an advantage)
• Experience of working with relational databases (Mysql, PostgreSQL or Oracle)
• SQL - Writing and understanding SQL queries
• PL / SQL (many jobs use stored procedures in Oracle)
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of bash script
• Programming knowledge (we have a lot of java scripts in our Pentaho jobs, pearl scripts and a little Java code)
• Good knowledge of file management such as xml files, text files, excel files etc
• RegExp (knowledge of regular expressions)
• Knowledge of Perl is an advantage
• Proficiency in both English and Swedish
