We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Quality Assurance Data Scientist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our data-driven products and services by leveraging advanced data science techniques and statistical methods. The QA Data Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and product managers, to develop and implement robust quality assurance processes and data validation frameworks.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Develop and implement data quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across various systems and platforms.
2. Design and execute data validation frameworks, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data integrity checks, to identify and resolve data quality issues.
3. Collaborate with data engineers to establish data quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure the effectiveness of data quality initiatives.
4. Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to detect anomalies, outliers, and patterns in large datasets, and provide recommendations for data quality improvements.
5. Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support data-driven decision making and product development.
6. Develop and maintain documentation for data quality processes, standards, and best practices.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to data quality standards and best practices.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data science and quality assurance, and apply them to improve existing processes and methodologies.

Who you are:

1. Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in data science, data quality assurance, or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data analysis libraries and frameworks (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
5. Experience with data quality tools and frameworks, such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache Griffin.
6. Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and approach problems systematically.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
