What You’ll Do:
As Spotter’s first AI Prompt Engineer, you will be at the forefront of enhancing Spotter’s next generation creator tools and insights leveraging AI. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, contribute to transformative products, and grow with a company that values innovation and creativity.
- Develop and refine AI prompts to maximize the performance, creativity, and reliability of LLMs and image models such as Lllama 3 and Stable Diffusion 3.
- Conduct rigorous testing and experimentation to evaluate and assess the strengths and limitations of various AI models, building frameworks for understanding and maximizing our products.
- Continuously manage, expand, and test our repository of AI prompts to improve output and user experience.
- Design and execute detailed test plans and QA processes to ensure the accuracy and stability of AI-generated content, including rigorous verification of prompt outputs and model behavior to guarantee that all software products meet the highest quality standards before release.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Researchers to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into our software offerings.
Who are you
- Proven experience in creating and testing prompts for AI models used in consumer software products.
- Intensely curious about LLMs, using them every day for work and fun, and staying up to date on any new developments and advances.
- Have a creative hacker spirit and love solving puzzles.
- Have familiarity with the architecture and operation of generative AI models such as transformers, diffusion models, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You make ambiguous problems clear and identify core principles that can translate across scenarios.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Valued Skills
- Beginner to intermediate programming skills in Python or a similar language.
- Experience with multimodal LLMs and their applications in a creative context.
- Deep understanding of AI and machine learning principles, especially in natural language processing and generative models.
- An interest in working with and understanding the needs of creative professionals such as content creators.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $100K-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
