Job Description

As a key member of the HR Solution team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production support, development and configuration of all systems in our HR technology landscape and integration to other corporate and 3rd party systems used in our firm to ensure our HR technology service is fully operational for all our locations globally at all time.

Role & Responsibilities

Production Support and System Development

  • Provide day-to-day production support of all systems in our HR technology landscape 
  • Deliver on-going system enhancement, bug-fix, data loading, mass change and support the full system develop life-cycle (Discovery/Analysis and Design/Test/Go-live/Support)
  • Act as a key subject matter expert, a bridge between IT and HR and managing user queries and managing changes in the company’s HR systems
  • Deliver and support all feeds (up/downstream) and integration with all systems (internal/external/3rd party)
  • Actively explore and implement opportunity for automation in process and technology
  • Adhere to and practise and guidelines as stated in our HRIS Playbook and procedures in Incidence Management and Change Delivery Framework
  • Timely and accurately maintain and update all system documentation, guidelines and procedures

Risk and Compliance

  • Adhere to and comply with all policy, guidelines, processes and procedures set out within the HR Solution team and the firm.
  • Timely and accurately respond to requests from internal audit, security group, data governance group and risk and compliance internally.

Reporting

  • Regularly and timely report to the direct manager and keep the direct manager up to date with progress of all responsible work items.

Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively within and outside of the immediate team (HR Solution Team), including all internal departments and external third parties

Qualifications

  • Third level qualification in IT/Computer Applications/Technology or other technical disciplines or relevant on-the-job experience 

Essential

  • In-depth and hands-on experience of 1st and/or 2nd line HR system support and HR system development
  • Proven track record of delivering HR system BAU changes and projects (e.g. break-fix, enhancement, system integration and brand-new system introduction)
  • Experience in HR data loading, HR data conversion, HR reporting creation and/or HR system development
  • Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to understand and interpret information.
  • Intermediate to Expert level in MS Excel and other MS Office Products

Preferred

  • Experience of Sage People, Smart Recruiter, PBI, Saba, Culture Amp, Onboarder, MS Powertool, Nintex, MS Viva Suites and AI are distinct advantages
  • Experience of multiple system integrations and concurrently implementation
  • 1st and/or 2nd line HR system support
  • Experience in HR process analysis and HR process improvement projects
  • Exposure to one full-cycle end-to-end HR system implementation, preferably from the financial sector
  • Exposure to HR transformation programme or digital HR project, preferably from the financial sector
  • Exposure to HR shared services centre or similar HR operations, preferably from the financial sector
  • Exposure to any best practice methodology (e.g. Agile, Scrum, PRINCEII, SDLC, etc.)
