About this role:
The Business Data Specialist will be part of the India team and will be responsible to support Gartner Research Board Events team in delivering a world class digital experience to all clients. Ensure first class execution, forward thinking and product development are applied constantly by the team to aid client retention and business growth while still delivering a globally consistent and world class level of service. Enter and manage data, provide reporting, and identify opportunities for improving members’ experience at the Gartner Research Board. The Business Data Specialist is also expected to learn about members of Research Board – CIOs of some of the largest companies in the world and their direct reports – and understand their organizational priorities for efficient and effective service delivery.
Manage the digital set-up for 40-60 annual events.
Responsible for launching all registration sites and ensuring they are setup, tested and maintained to adhere to timelines.
Work with internal registration team and Events Technology teams to manage priorities for system enhancements, ensuring the highest level of attendee experience.
Maintain engagement databases, assemble, sort and process business data and perform necessary analyses to produce ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly GRB dashboards and reporting.
Each month the reporting process will need to be adjusted to meet the evolving needs of a rapidly growing business unit with multiple stakeholders.
Proactively suggest and undertake improvements in the accuracy, efficiency, and actionability of reporting.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate repeatable work and make self[1]service capabilities available to GRB leaders.
Partner with GRB leaders to identify and support strategic GRB initiatives and help GRB managers and associates maintain focus on key metrics.
What you’ll need:
A Bachelor’s degree with specialization in statistics, data science, operational research, mathematics, or finance preferred
Experience level of 0 to 2 years in analysis, data management and/or data mining experience combined with relevant experience in a business environment responsible for analytics reporting
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite - advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills an advantage • Data exploration/visualization tools such as PowerBI an advantage
Excellent time management skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
High level of attention to detail, thoroughness and commitment to data quality and analytic rigor. • Excellent communication and listening skills. Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken) with ability to communicate analyses and results effectively, both in text and visual form. Who you are:
