Job Responsibilities

 

  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Supports building and maintaining data models, creating logics and measures to ensure consistent reporting of key metrics 
  • Creates reports and dashboards using data visualization techniques (PBI) related to Global Pipeline project
  • Applies business acumen to develop feasible data-based recommendations 
  • Analyzes data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind as per business requirements
  • Analyzes historical data to derive actionable insights and trends for making informed business decisions as well as encompasses various aspects such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and advanced statistical techniques to describe past events, predict future outcomes, and prescribe actions
  • While mining, interpreting data, candidate will be relied on to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover hidden opportunities for realizing the data’s full potential
  • Data Scientist will “slice and dice” data using various methods and create new visions for the future
  • Closely collaborates with internal BI team and regional reporting teams to ensure alignment
  • Supports the various commercial operations initiatives as directed by the VP of Commercial Operations & Global Sales Operations Manager

Basic Qualifications

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field

  • At least 3 years in business or data analysis or similar position
  • Strong mathematical and statistical expertise, along with natural curiosity and a creative mind
  • Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
  • Experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling is a plus
  • Experience with PBI or similar business intelligence visualization tool, proficiency in using data query languages (SQL), and programming languages (DAX)
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (OSC is a plus), ERP systems 
  • Proficient in machine learning techniques and writing algorithms
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several concurrent projects
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable to work in a matrix style of management
  • Proactive, results oriented
