Position Summary

We are looking for ambitious student engineers to tackle and learn our projects in the cloud and data space. The successful student will work on the Databricks platform building and maintaining data pipelines, administering the data platform and do other duties that help in running a successful data platform. You will work alongside other Senior Data Engineers and Architects and complete the tasks assigned to them on time in a sprint agile fashion.

What you will do:

• Work on Databricks platform and pipelines.
• Write Scala and Python code notebooks.
• Write Terraform code to deploy all the objects to staging and production.
• Work on Cost Optimization efforts.
• Manage users, roles, other configurations across all databricks workspaces.
• Implement advanced monitoring across all pipelines.
• Perform other duties that serve individual teams and customers and help them onboard databricks.

Who we are looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution/program in a related field
• Required programming knowledge and experience in Python and Scala.
• Preferred Terraform coding knowledge.
• Preferred exposure to AWS Cloud.
• Preferred Administrator knowledge on Linux environments.
