Job Description

Checkout.com is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Commercial Strategy & Performance function as a Business Data Analyst for the summer. This role is pivotal in supporting major company-wide go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, including territory planning and the precise identification of target lists and prospects to enhance our sales and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex data, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and have a foundational understanding of market dynamics and general business trends. They will act as a strategic thought partner to commercial leadership, providing data-driven insights and crucial commercial KPIs to inform our go-to-market planning.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prospect Researching: identifying and researching prospects within key regions that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and strategic objectives.
• Data Analysis: Working with large datasets to manually pinpoint the best-fit opportunities, ensuring a high level of accuracy and relevance in prospect selection.
• Territory Management: Updating our current account lists to highlight the most viable options, thereby optimizing our organization's potential to secure wins in competitive markets.

Qualifications

• Educational Foundation: You’re studying a degree in a quantitatively-driven field such as for example Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
• Data Affinity: Comfortable manipulating and interpreting large data sets.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrates a strong willingness to grasp and address business needs.
• Technical Proficiency: you know your way around microsoft excel / google sheets.
