Job Description: Insurance Data Architect (BI, Data & Analytics)

Min Experience: 12+ Years

We are looking for a Seasoned Insurance Data Architect for our large and growing Data, Analytics & Digital practice. You will be working on Projects based on Insurance Data  Product and support Pre-Sales for a mix of Insurers of various sizes  We are seeking a candidate to lead, innovate and grow along with our flagship Data and Analytics offerings; one who can envision, create, and deliver ideal Data & Analytics solutions for our Insurance customers across geographies and types of Insurance (P&C, Life, Reinsurance). 

Your main responsibilities will include:

Provide Data & Analytics solutions based on Sapiens Insurance Data Product. Clearly articulate Solution Scope, Product Extension to meet scope requirements, Technical components involved and unique advantages of the Sapiens solution.

Understand and enhance pre-designed insurance-specific data models. Also review such enhancements

During Pre-Sales

Work closely with customers & understand their Data & Analytics technology landscape.

Work with pre-sales teams in creating & demonstrating winning Proofs of Concept to Technical Architects and management Executives.

Create overall Solution Design & Infrastructure sizing documents based on estimated customer growth scenarios.

Work with delivery teams for effort estimations and delivery planning

During Delivery Phase:

Lead Data modelling, Design workshops. 

Work closely with the delivery team and support project execution and architecture / solution reviews.

Drive creation of reusable components, frameworks, methodologies and models

Desired Skills:

• Min 12 years of experience within IT space.

• Strong Data Architecture & Data warehousing background
• Strong Business domain exposure in Banking, Financial Services or Insurance
• Expertise in understanding, designing and implementing complex transformation logic
• Should have good understanding of cluster and parallel architecture as well as high-scale or distributed RDBMS and/or knowledge on NoSQL platforms
• To be proficient in designing efficient and robust ETL/ELT workflows
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and be able to write high-performance, reliable and maintainable SQL/PL-SQL
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong background in Functional and Technical aspects of the solution.
• Representative and Collaborative.
• Willing to travel
• Experience with customers in multiple countries.
