*This is an on-site role located in New Bremen, Ohio*

 

Summary

Provide insight into business performance using business data and statistical methods. Create analytical approaches and methodologies and interprets results. Review integrity of data and pay attention to detail.  May collect and analyze external market data to provide benchmarks for comparison purposes. Present reports to management for use in decision making and strategic planning. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze information and data required for various customer and marketing analyses requests.
  • Work with disparate data sources and multiple internal and external databases using large amount of structured and unstructured data to perform data cleansing, transformation and analysis.
  • Areas of focus may include customer sales histories, identifying opportunities for customer growth through new account opportunities/cross-sell/up-sell, segmentation and customer intelligence, market or competitor trends in various segments or geographic locations, retail network performance, annual product production forecasts, customer support trends based on type and/or retailer, support agent metrics, response time, or completion time.
  • Specific customer analysis may include analyzing key metrics surrounding customer life cycle stages, life-time value, and cost of acquiring/serving a customer. 
  • Design and build reports or dashboards to convey the results of various analysis. These reports should accurately reflect the data and convey actionable insights for users. Interpret and effectively communicate the results of analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual business performance reporting dashboards for senior leadership team for various planned project.
  • Enhance current reporting efforts into a more usable and streamlined format as well as developing reports for projects.
  • Maintain data integrity by working with key input/output stakeholders to complete various reports/dashboards.
  • Proactively look for new ways to improve reporting efficiency and end-user access to data results while ensuring security. Use data to discover opportunities for improving level of support as well as efficiencies.
  • Propose solutions to management and conduct internal and external training. 
  • Develop, improve, and maintain knowledge articles to document internal and external processes associated with Customer Support.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Less than 2 years' related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science)

            Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in customer and/or marketing analytics,
  • Customer Support processes and support expectations, database mining, and reporting within a Business to Business (B2B) or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated good analytical and statistical skills, including a detailed working knowledge of various business intelligence systems and database tools such as Tableau, Microsoft BI or similar platform. Experience with analytical techniques and for connecting data stories to relevant business applications to allow leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Good time management skills, communications skills, problem solving skills, good reading, written and verbal language skills (English).
  • Highly advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Project, Access).
