We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. Engineer. The Analytics Engineer will deliver analytical solutions using programming, data set management, and visualization techniques. Responsibilities include querying databases, data processing, utilizing APIs for external data sources, and communicating findings. Writes clean, performant, reusable code and digestible analyses of data-based findings. Gathers and interprets end-user requirements and incorporates them into proposed solutions. Assists in working collaboratively with business stakeholders to make strategic data-related decisions by analyzing data.

We are looking for a strong problem solver with a deep understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, along with excellent programming and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement interactive, user-friendly applications utilizing either RShiny or Python Dash platforms
  • Create data analysis and visualizations/dashboards utilizing Python and/or R programming languages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to incorporate user feedback and improve functionality of internal AI applications
  • Incorporate generative AI into new and existing applications via API integration
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data analytics and bring innovative ideas to the team
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytical processes
  • Communicate with stakeholders on documentation initiatives, including user guides and intake processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in data engineering and analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience in data engineering techniques, including web data scraping and API utilization for tasks such as digital sentiment analysis
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with data science platforms such as R and/or Domino a plus
  • Experience in data analysis and producing visualizations in the form of dashboards
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Proficient in generative AI and machine learning techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills to present analysis on complex data sets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements
